The idea is great but...

- Its difficult to zoom in
- Even when I zoom in all the way through, sometimes I have to click several times before it selects small islands or countries
- When I try to drag the map around, its not smooth, its awkward.

As I said, the idea is great (nice resolution, nice to have a confirm button), but other apps work better.
