Good game but poor touch controls

I like the concept, its perfect for learning the countries of the world, but the touch functionality is terrible. I have an iPhone 5 and it was obviously designed for the 4, but regardless, trying to click on the tiny islands is so frustrating and the confirm checkbox in the bottom right is frequently missed, selecting another country instead.
